The Mayan calendar ends on 12/21/2012. Or in Europe that would be written out as 21/12/2012. Either way it means December 21, 2012. The Mayans were a scary group of people. There is not doubt that this end date worries us. According to “interpretations” they received their information from an outside source. (UFO or Alien). The “Kukulcan” (as he was called) provided the Mayans with their astronomical information. Who was this guy? The Mayans described him as a tall white man who came from the sea. Some people argue that the Mayans were only predicting the end of one cycle and the beginning of a new one. But, maybe the Mayans knew the date that Wormwood was going to hit the earth.

Nothing is coincidence. Everything is by cause and effect. The world today is not the world 25,000 years ago. We have much change to our atmosphere oceans and land. Yet the very progression was frontiersman in areas that were not known before or even in existence… so what history do you have to analysis with? Nobody can know the hour of the Lords return possibly because that would be by a lunar calendar and at the festival of the unknown day where the two witnesses will have to wait for that time to blow there horns by the first siting of the crescent new moon. Until that is spotted the time is pending not like a calendar Forth of July. Yet we can see the signs and be watchful due to recognizing them we can also pull in and draw near to God through Jesus Christ and prepare ourselves for His return in which we would not want to meet him in shame or dread due to He has his reward with him for every one alive at His return. Just because the Mayans calendar is ending in 2012 does not mean an end to our earth(our home planet) is means an end to an Age of time. It does not mean “the end of this world as we know it” . No one, not even Jesus Christ knows, Only the Creator, the Heavenly Father, who created man in the beginning knows See Matt: 24:36.
In the beginning When God placed Man in the Garden of Eden, What did he tell them to do? He told them to multiply and fill the earth with there kind, to take care of the animals, and Do not take of the Tree of fruit in the middle of the garden. So, do not listen to all this talk about our planet the earth being destroyed, with a comet or whatever in 2012. The Earth is standing forever. See Ecclesiastes 1:4 “A generation is going and a generation is coming, but the earth is standing even to time indefinite.”

2 Peter 3:10-13 is going on.
10 But the day of the lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of god, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Nobody knows what will happen until it happens! If it shall be then it shall be. It’d be terrible, indeed but if there is such a “God” then why would we know of the up coming events? Debates maybe interesting on this topic but it’s meaningless cause there will be no justice for anyone. Personally I think we have more time on Planet Earth and from my understanding, I think Brian Cox does too. Let’s think about something: people die every day loads of people. Now what says that we’re not to die within any second? The possibility is still there indeed. If the end was to come we (you or I) could die before it even gets close. Instead of worrying of what could be or could’ve been, lets concentrate on the now while we still have it, aye?
